Solana co-founder: The Bitcoin community must take action quickly to address the threat of Quantum Computing before 2030.

Golden Finance reports that Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko urged the Bitcoin community to take action faster to guard against quantum attacks. He believes that major breakthroughs in the field of Quantum Computing could come sooner than expected. At the 2025 All-In Summit released on YouTube on Friday, Yakovenko stated, "I feel there is a 50% chance of a breakthrough in Quantum Computing within five years." He added, "We should migrate Bitcoin to a quantum-resistant signature scheme." Yakovenko's prediction is based on the convergence of various technologies and the astonishing speed at which artificial intelligence is accelerating from research papers to practical applications. He stated, "This is truly amazing, and I would encourage everyone to accelerate their actions."
