Monad Mainnet is now online! Tens of thousands of TPS crush Ethereum, challenging Solana's next 100x coin?

The high-speed Layer 1 Blockchain Monad officially launched its Mainnet after nine months of testing in a controlled environment. The network is EVM compatible and claims to handle over 10,000 transactions per second, with more than 2 billion transactions processed during the testing phase. Its native Token MON has been listed on multiple exchanges, with its price skyrocketing from $0.033 to $0.047 in the past few days, an increase of up to 62%.

Monad Mainnet Launch: A Strong Competitor to Ethereum and Solana

A new challenger to Ethereum and Solana has gone live and has caught the attention of the entire cryptocurrency space. Monad is positioned as a high-performance Layer 1 blockchain, offering a differentiated value proposition in the competitive smart contract platform market. The network is EVM compatible, meaning Ethereum developers can easily migrate existing applications to Monad without having to rewrite code.

The core selling point of Monad is scalability and performance. The official claim is that it can handle over 10,000 transactions per second (TPS), which far exceeds Ethereum's mainnet of 15-30 TPS and can even be compared to Solana's theoretical peak of 65,000 TPS. More importantly, during the testing phase, the Monad blockchain processed over 2 billion transactions with an average gas fee of $0.006. This indicates its capability to compete with similar smart contract networks like Solana and Sui.

In terms of technical architecture, Monad employs several innovative designs to achieve high throughput. Its parallel execution engine allows multiple transactions to be processed simultaneously, rather than sequentially as in Ethereum. The delayed state access mechanism enables the network to pre-process some calculations before confirming transactions, further enhancing efficiency. These technical features allow Monad to achieve speeds close to that of a native high-performance chain while maintaining EVM compatibility.

The nine-month testing period has also provided valuable data validation for Monad. The processing volume of 2 billion transactions demonstrates the network's stability under stress testing, while the average gas fee of $0.006 proves that its cost structure is user-friendly. This level of testing depth is not common in emerging Layer 1 projects, adding confidence to Monad's technical reliability.

MON Token big pump 62%: exchange fully online

Its native Token MON has been listed on several mainstream CEX and DEX, including the largest regulated crypto exchange in the United States. This rapid exchange coverage is extremely rare in new projects, which typically take months or even years to gain support from top exchanges. The listing on the largest regulated crypto exchange in the United States is particularly significant due to its stringent project review, and its support is often seen as a dual certification of compliance and market demand.

In the past few days, the price of MON has rapidly risen from $0.033 to $0.047, an increase of up to 62%. This explosive rise reflects the market's positive reaction to the launch of the Monad Mainnet. From a technical analysis perspective, this surge is accompanied by a significant increase in trading volume, indicating genuine buying demand rather than mere speculative trading.

Multiple DEX: Provides instant liquidity and trading options without KYC.

If the project plans to seriously compete with blockchains like Solana, the next step is to actively expand its ecosystem and attract a large number of developers. Solana's success is largely attributed to its vast DeFi, NFT, and gaming ecosystems, as well as ongoing developer incentive programs. Monad needs to replicate this strategy by building a developer community through hackathons, funding programs, and technical support.

From the perspective of token economics, the rapid rise of MON also reflects the market's continued interest in high-performance Layer 1 (L1) tracks. Against the backdrop of high Ethereum gas fees and fragmented Layer 2 solutions, there is still a huge market space for alternatives with native high performance and EVM compatibility. Monad just fills this gap.

Monad Price Prediction: A breakthrough at 0.048 USD will open up a 59% pump

The 15-minute chart shows that MON has been steadily climbing over the past few days, forming a series of higher highs and higher lows, while creating an ascending price channel. This technical formation is a typical bullish structure, indicating that buying pressure is continuously accumulating. The upper and lower boundaries of the price channel provide traders with clear support and resistance references.

The price seems to be facing strong selling pressure around $0.048. With the continued dissemination of news regarding the launch of the Monad Mainnet, this will be a key resistance level to watch closely in the coming hours. $0.048 may be a profit-taking point set by early investors or a technical resistance formed by psychological pricing. Breaking through this level will require sufficient buying volume and new demand.

If the price fails to break through that level, we may see it drop to around $0.040, but with market sentiment seemingly shifting, the possibility of a rebound is high. $0.040 is close to the lower boundary support of the ascending channel and is also a key price level of the previous consolidation platform. From a risk management perspective, this price level provides a relatively safe stop-loss setting point.

At the same time, if the price breaks through 0.048 USD, it may trigger a higher pump. The first target may be set at 0.075 USD, which implies a 59% upside potential. This target is based on the extension of the rising channel and Fibonacci extension levels. If the ecological development after the mainnet launch exceeds expectations, or if significant DeFi protocols announce deployment on Monad, the price may further break through 0.075 USD, entering a new price discovery phase.

From the perspective of trading volume analysis, if a breakout occurs at $0.048 with increased volume, it will confirm the validity of the breakout. Conversely, if the breakout occurs with shrinking volume, it may be a false breakout, and the price will quickly retreat. Traders should closely monitor the changes in trading volume during the breakout.

Will Monad become the next Solana?

To answer this question, it is necessary to compare the core competitiveness of Monad and Solana. Solana's success is built on the triple foundation of high performance, low cost, and a large ecosystem. Monad has already demonstrated competitiveness in the first two dimensions, but ecosystem development is still in its early stages.

After Solana's Mainnet launched in 2020, it took about two years to establish a complete ecosystem covering DeFi, NFT, games, and payments. During this time, it experienced multiple network outages and technical challenges, but the team's quick response and continuous optimization ultimately won market trust. Monad needs to prove its technical stability, especially when facing high loads from the real world.

EVM compatibility is an important advantage of Monad. Ethereum has the largest developer community and the most mature toolchain, allowing Monad to directly leverage these resources, while Solana requires developers to learn Rust and its unique development framework. This low migration cost may accelerate the development of the Monad ecosystem.

However, Monad also faces fierce competition. In addition to Solana, emerging high-performance chains like Sui, Aptos, and Sei are also vying for market share. Whether it can stand out depends on whether Monad can find a balance between technical performance, developer experience, and user growth.
