The Monetary Authority of Singapore has launched the BLOOM initiative to expand digital Settlement capabilities.

Shenchao TechFlow news, on October 16, according to the official announcement, the Monetary Authority of Singapore ( MAS ) announced the launch of BLOOM ( Borderless, Liquid, Open, Online, Multi-currency ) program on October 16, 2025, aiming to expand the settlement capabilities of Financial Institutions. The program will support the settlement of tokenized bank liabilities and regulated stablecoins, and effectively manage digital asset risks.

BLOOM is built on the foundation of Project Orchid, covering G10 and multi-currency payments in Asia, cross-border settlements, and wholesale use cases. Initial partners include financial institutions such as Circle, DBS, OCBC, which will collaboratively address industry challenges such as settlement asset allocation, compliance automation, and AI agent payments, driving a new wave of financial innovation.
