On March 27, tech reporter Mark Gurman, in a post dated March 26 local time, said that Apple plans to open Siri, its external artificial intelligence assistant, to the outside world, aiming to strengthen the iPhone’s position as an artificial intelligence platform. Insiders say Apple is preparing to make this change in the upcoming iOS 27 operating system update, as part of a comprehensive upgrade to Siri. Through its partnership with OpenAI, Siri can already connect to ChatGPT, but Apple will now also allow integration with other competing products. It is reported that Apple is developing new tools so that AI chatbot apps installed via the App Store can integrate with the Siri assistant. (China Finance Network)
