The Lebanese military calls on the public to refrain from returning to the southern region of the country for now.

Local time on the 8th, the Lebanese armed forces issued a statement calling on the public not to return to the country’s southern regions. The statement said that, given the current developments in the situation in the area, the military command urged people not to return to southern villages and towns, and to avoid approaching areas controlled by the Israel Defense Forces in order to ensure their own safety, especially by guarding against the risk of Israeli strikes due to getting close to the relevant areas. Earlier that day, several towns in southern Lebanon were hit by strikes carried out by the Israel Defense Forces. (CCTV News)
