Japanese and South Korean stock markets open higher collectively, with South Korea's KOSPI index rising over 5%

People’s Finance News, April 8—Stock markets in Japan and South Korea opened higher across the board. The Nikkei 225 index rose 1.78% at the open, to 54,381.59 points; the Korea KOSPI index rose 5.83%, to 5,815.19 points.
