BUENOS AIRES, Feb 16 (Reuters) - The Vicuña Corp. mining company announced on Monday a total investment of 18,000 million dollars over several years in two copper, gold and silver projects in northern Argentina, as the company said in a statement in which it presented its Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA).

Vicuña, formed by the Australian BHP and the Canadian Lundin, уточ clarified that the initial investment in its Josemaría and Filo del Sol projects, in the province of San Juan, will be 7,000 million dollars from 2027 until the start of production expected for 2030.
