Golden Finance reports that on April 2, according to on-chain security firm PeckShield’s monitoring, HyperEVM is suspected to be experiencing a major outage. The basis is that a block explorer page shows the latest block and transactions are both still labeled as “1 hour ago.” Some blocks show zero transactions, and on-chain data appears to be stopped updating.
However, according to user replies, the above anomaly is actually a data delay issue with the block explorer itself, rather than a HyperEVM underlying chain outage. Even at the top of that explorer page, there is already a banner stating, “Block data may be delayed.” Other third-party explorers (such as Hyperscan) still show normal on-chain activity.
