Trump: The core goal is close to being achieved, and the rise in oil prices is a short-term phenomenon.
Deep Tide TechFlow message, April 02, in a nationwide televised address delivered by Trump on Thursday, he outlined in detail the military gains achieved by the “epic anger action.” He said, “The U.S. military has achieved a rapid and decisive victory. The core strategic objectives are close to being met. In all of human history of war, there has never been any enemy suffering such clear and devastating large-scale losses in just a matter of a few weeks.” He reiterated, “Iran’s ability to launch missiles and drones has been greatly weakened. We will never allow Iran to have nuclear weapons.”
On energy, Trump still said, “We don’t need oil from the Middle East. Partly thanks to Venezuela’s oil and natural gas, the U.S. is now completely no longer dependent on the Middle East. And the recent rise in gas prices in the United States is a ‘short-term’ phenomenon. Oil production will soon increase significantly. The United States has never been so well prepared economically.” Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, which the market worries about the most, Trump still did not provide a timetable for when it would open: “We didn’t need the Strait of Hormuz in the past, and we don’t need it now. Once the conflict is over, the strait will naturally open.” (Jin Ten)
