Israel claims to have attacked the uranium mining plant in Yazd, Iran.
The Israel Defense Forces said that it attacked an uranium mining facility in Yazd, Iran, not long ago, as part of its “Campaign of Ongoing Pressure” against Iran’s nuclear program.
In a statement posted on Telegram, the Israel Defense Forces said the facility is Iran’s only plant of this kind, processing raw material extracted from underground for use in uranium enrichment.
The attack targeted key infrastructure used in the production process.
Note: Israel confirmed that it attacked Iran’s heavy water plant in Arak.
