Gelonghui April 1｜Precious metals led the gains; the energy-and-chemicals sector plunged. Shanghai silver rose more than 5%, palladium rose more than 3%, and Shanghai gold rose more than 2%. Crude oil fell more than 7%, while fuel oil and the European line of containerized freight fell more than 4%.
