The nationwide natural gas consumption during the heating season reaches 180 billion cubic meters; gas extraction from storage facilities hits a new high.

As the heating season in northern regions ends, our country’s task of using natural gas for peak shaving and ensuring supply from this past winter to this coming spring has been successfully completed. For this heating season, total natural gas consumption nationwide reached 180 billion cubic meters, up more than 2% year over year. Among them, gas production from multiple gas storage facilities hit historical highs, providing a solid source of gas to keep people warm through the winter and to support enterprise production.
