Golden Finance reports that on April 2, stablecoin payment card infrastructure service provider Kulipa announced the completion of a $6.2 million seed round, co-led by Flourish Ventures and 1kx, with White Star Capital and Fabric Ventures participating. The company helps fintech companies issue white-label stablecoin payment cards without having to manage card operations themselves. As Kulipa founder and CEO Axel Cateland revealed, this round of funding was actually completed in December last year; it used the Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE) funding model. However, he declined to disclose details such as when the funding process began, the tranche structure, the company’s valuation, and the allocation of board seats.
