Russian Foreign Minister: U.S. interference in Middle East affairs has made the situation more "severe"

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said in an interview late on March 26 local time that every time the United States and its allies interfere in the situation in the Middle East, things become even more “dire.” Lavrov condemned the U.S. government’s senior officials for loudly boasting about assassination actions against members of Iran’s leadership, saying that such conduct is very “hypocritical.” He pointed out that the United States launches attacks on Iran by using its military bases in Arab countries in the Persian Gulf region, but withdraws most of its U.S. troops from the military bases—an act that betrays those allies.
