Abstract generation in progress

ME News update, April 2 (UTC+8). Zhipu AI recently released its new-generation foundational model, GLM-5V-Turbo. The model is designed to bridge the gap between visual perception and software engineering. Unlike standard large language models that rely only on text prompts, GLM-5V-Turbo natively supports processing visual inputs such as design drafts and screenshots, and is positioned as a “vision encoding model.” According to the article, the model has native multimodal encoding capabilities, enabling it to understand a variety of inputs including images, videos, design drafts, and document layouts, and achieves leading performance on core benchmark tests in terms of balancing visual and programming abilities.
