Announcement on the Passing of the 168-Hour Trial Run for the Newly Built Coal-Fired Power Generation Project

China Coal Xinjiy Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) two newly built coal-fired power generation projects have passed the 168-hour trial run. The specific project progress is as follows:

I. Newly Built Coal-Fired Power Generation Project of Shangrao Xintou Power Generation Co., Ltd.

The 2×1000MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generation project with second reheat newly built by the Company’s controlling subsidiary, Shangrao Xintou Power Generation Co., Ltd., is located within Guangxin District, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. The two generating units completed 168-hour full-load trial operation on December 30, 2025 and March 25, 2026, respectively, and were put into commercial operation.

II. Newly Built Coal-Fired Power Generation Project of China Coal Xinjiy (Chuzhou) Power Generation Co., Ltd.

The 2×660MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generation project with second reheat newly built by the Company’s controlling subsidiary, China Coal Xinjiy (Chuzhou) Power Generation Co., Ltd., is located within Fengyang County, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province. The two generating units completed 168-hour full-load trial operation on January 30, 2026 and March 27, 2026, respectively, and were put into commercial operation.

All of the above coal-fired power generation projects are designed and built in accordance with advanced energy-saving and environmental protection indicators. The emission concentrations of smoke, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxides meet ultra-clean emission standards. The projects apply the latest information technology and build a smart power plant at the leading level in the industry, comprehensively improving the safety, environmental protection, and economic-technical performance of the power plants.

The commissioning of the above coal-fired power generation projects will further enhance the Company’s coal-to-power integrated installed capacity, effectively ease the peak power demand pressure in Jiangxi Province and Anhui Province, and provide support for ensuring energy supply to the local area.
