Probability of Fed Keeping Rates Unchanged in April at 97.4%

On April 2, according to CME’s ‘FedWatch’: The probability of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates by 25 basis points in April is 2.6%, while the probability of keeping rates unchanged is 97.4%. The probability of the Fed cutting rates by a cumulative 25 basis points by June is 6.6%, with a 91.0% chance of maintaining rates, and a 2.4% probability of a cumulative rate hike of 25 basis points.
