Recently, according to data released by Singapore’s Land Transport Authority, in 2025, BYD (002594) sold 11,184 passenger vehicles in Singapore, up 80.6% year over year. It topped the annual sales rankings across all brands for the first time again, and its overseas performance reached new heights. Since 2022, BYD has officially entered Singapore’s passenger vehicle market, and in just two years it successfully rose to the #1 spot.

In addition, in the commercial vehicle sector, BYD electric buses officially entered Singapore in 2018. Orders have already exceeded 500 units, with a market share of over 60%, maintaining its position as the industry leader. In October 2025, it won the tender for Singapore’s first L4-level autonomous driving bus service pilot program, which is also the first time an autonomous driving bus has been included in an overseas public transportation system.

In the electric truck segment, BYD entered Singapore in 2020 and began officially delivering sanitation vehicles T9 to the local market, becoming the first company to sell electric trucks locally. From 2021 to 2025, BYD’s pure-electric trucks in Singapore accumulated registrations of 1,450 units over five years, ranking first.

The Singapore market has extremely stringent requirements for vehicle safety, energy consumption, and reliability, making it a benchmark for Southeast Asia and even the global market. BYD has secured multiple #1 rankings in both passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles, which is inseparable from 12 years of deep cultivation—staying committed to providing the market with leading technology, reliable products, and high-quality services.

On March 26, the pure-electric mini truck T35 was officially launched in Singapore. The price is about 143,000 Singapore dollars (about RMB 770,000), including the vehicle ownership certificate and government subsidies. This price is valid until April 8. The T35 can maneuver flexibly and efficiently on narrow roads. It can meet diversified needs such as urban express delivery and commercial distribution, providing local logistics industries with a zero-emission, high-efficiency solution.

By this point, in the passenger vehicle segment, BYD currently has models such as ATTO 3, Dolphin, Seal, and Atto (海狮). The luxury brand Denza has models such as D9 and B5, covering multiple sub-segments. In the commercial vehicle segment, it has established product layouts including electric buses, heavy trucks, and mini trucks. BYD, with end-to-end solutions for all scenarios in passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles, meets diversified needs for personal travel, public transportation, and logistics and freight, helping Singapore achieve the goal of all vehicles using clean energy by 2040.
