Google announces completion of the $32 billion Wiz acquisition

On March 11 local time, Google announced that it has completed its $32 billion all-cash acquisition of cybersecurity company Wiz, and Wiz has officially joined Google Cloud effective immediately. This is the largest acquisition in Google’s history by deal size. Wiz provides a security platform that protects large cloud environments by preventing and responding to cybersecurity threats. The company said that although it will join Google Cloud, Wiz will continue to maintain its brand and is committed to providing security protection for customers across all cloud environments.
