Most of the main futures contracts in China declined, with the petrochemical sector leading the declines.

Most domestic futures main contracts declined; the energy chemical sector led the losses. Precious metals rose. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fell by nearly 8%. European container shipping (euro line), low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), and lithium carbonate dropped by more than 6%. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and plastics fell by more than 5%. Polypropylene (PP), methanol, coking coal, propylene, ethylene glycol (EG), PX, PTA, and fuel oil fell by more than 4%. SC crude oil and aluminum oxide fell by more than 3%. On the gain side, Shanghai silver rose by nearly 4%, Shanghai gold rose by nearly 2%, and Shanghai aluminum and D1 soybeans rose by more than 1%.
