Cao Cao Mobility approved to conduct safety-operator-free testing, marking the Robotaxi entering a new stage of unmanned operation

**Guandian News: **On April 1, Caocao Mobility announced that it has obtained approval from relevant regulatory authorities, becoming the first company in Hangzhou that can conduct on-road tests for intelligent connected vehicles without a safety operator.

This marks a milestone breakthrough in its Robotaxi technological capabilities, officially entering a new stage of fully driverless operations.

According to the introduction, Caocao Mobility previously released its “Ten Years, One Hundred Cities, and One Trillion” strategic goal, planning to deploy a total of 100,000 fully customized Robotaxis by 2030 and promote its services to 100 cities. To date, the company has launched the world’s first “green smart passage island” in Hangzhou. Through facilities that integrate functions such as automated battery swapping and intelligent dispatching, it builds an “integrated roadway/sky/air” travel blueprint.

The approval to conduct tests without safety operators will further accelerate Caocao Mobility’s commercialization and rollout in the Robotaxi sector, providing technical support for achieving its strategic goal of total transaction value at the trillion-yuan level.
