The construction of Phase II of the Hainan International Commercial Aerospace Launch Site is being accelerated. The main structural works of Launch Pads 3 and 4 have been fully topped out, and it is expected that the site will have complete launch capability by the end of this year. After Launch Pad 4 is fully put into operation, Hainan Commercial Aerospace’s annual launch capacity will be increased to more than 60 launches, meeting the needs of high-density commercial aerospace launch operations. Meanwhile, progress on the sea-based recovery system is going smoothly; it is expected to be completed and delivered by year-end, enabling a closed-loop, end-to-end rocket process and lowering launch costs. The Xingjian Rocket Industry Park in the Wenchang International Aerospace City has attracted more than 700 companies to move in, forming an efficient, collaborative, and open-shared commercial aerospace industry ecosystem. The boom in commercial aerospace has also driven the development of related culture and tourism formats. Last year, the tourism revenue of Longlou Town reached 60 million yuan. (CCTV News)
