Abstract generation in progress

FedEx is entering the same-day local delivery market by partnering with OneRail, a platform that connects retailers with last-mile carriers. This move allows FedEx to compete with Amazon, Walmart, UPS (via Roadie), and other delivery services, aiming to capture new volume from large customers and meet consumer demand for flexible delivery options. The service, known as FedEx SameDay Local, will offer two-hour or end-of-day delivery through a network of over 1,000 providers coordinated by OneRail.
