IT之家 on February 27 news: Sony PlayStation tonight released an announcement, saying it will roll out an upgraded version of the PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, PlayStation spectral super-resolution) feature for PS5 Pro players worldwide.

As 《Resident Evil 9: Dying Light》 is officially released today, it naturally becomes the world’s first 3A title to feature the “upgraded PSSR” technology.

Sony says that PSSR is currently used in more than 50 PS5 Pro games. The new PSSR uses not only different approaches in terms of neural networks, but also a completely different implementation across the overall algorithms.
