People’s Finance News, March 30. On local time, March 30, the Council of the European Union decided to extend the framework for restrictive measures by another twelve months, in view of the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, until March 31, 2027. The Council said the EU will continue to have the right to impose targeted restrictive measures on individuals or entities that undermine the sovereignty, territorial integrity, constitutional order, or international standing of Bosnia and Herzegovina. For individuals or entities that seriously threaten the security situation in that country or undermine the Dayton Peace Agreement, the EU may also impose restrictive measures. The restrictive measures under this framework include asset freezes, prohibitions on providing funds, and bans on natural persons traveling to the EU. At present, no individual or entity is subject to restrictive measures under this framework. (CCTV News)
