The Hong Kong Tourism Board has recently submitted its work plan for the 2026/27 session to the Legislative Council. It mentions that the total number of overnight visitors to Hong Kong in 2025 was 23.19 million person-trips, up 6% year-on-year. Per-capita spending was 5,503 yuan, a slight increase of 0.2% compared with 2024. The Tourism Board expects that this year the total number of visitors to Hong Kong will be 53.8 million, up 8%.
