BYD Song Ultra EV Launch: All models equipped with the second-generation Blade Battery and fast-charging technology, starting at 151,900 RMB

Sina Tech reported on March 30 evening that BYD Song Ultra EV was officially launched, with four models, including the 605KM Leading Edition, the 605KM Beyond Edition, the 710KM Beyond Edition, and the 710KM Excellence Edition. The official guidance price ranges from 151,900 yuan to 179,900 yuan.

The Song Ultra EV is equipped with three major technologies: the second-generation Blade Battery, flash charging, and a laser radar. The new vehicle features flash charging technology: at room temperature, it takes 9 minutes to charge from 10% to 97%, and even at -30°C it only takes 3 minutes more; the second-generation Blade Battery has gone through rigorous tests such as “after 500 flash-charging cycles, flash charging and needle puncture simultaneously.” The battery warranty benefits have been comprehensively upgraded: capacity below 77.5% is eligible for a free exchange for a replacement, and the battery cells are covered by a lifetime warranty. The Song Ultra EV can also be optionally equipped with the Tian Shen Zhi Yan B- Assisted Driving Laser Edition (DiPilot 300), and Tian Shen Zhi Yan 5.0 is equipped with the latest large-model version. It enables autonomous passage of red and green lights at intersections, calm turning around in narrow roads, and steady parking in parking lots. It can also handle extremely narrow scenarios, complex U-turns, and proactively switches to auxiliary roads when urban traffic is congested.

In terms of performance, the Song Ultra EV is equipped with a maximum 270 kW high-power motor, with 0-100 km/h acceleration as quick as 6.8 seconds, and a top speed of up to 210 km/h. In terms of space, the Song Ultra EV creates a standard B-segment SUV layout with a 2,840 mm wheelbase, with rear legroom reaching 986 mm. The 730 L trunk can hold 6 pieces of 20-inch luggage plus 1 baby stroller, and the 150 L front trunk has an independent compartment for storage. The driver and co-driver seatbacks can be folded down simultaneously, paired with an intelligent hot-and-cold adjustable cooler box.

The entire range of the Song Ultra EV comes standard with the Yun Nian-C intelligent damping body control system, along with front dual-ball-joint MacPherson strut independent suspension and rear five-link independent suspension. The TBC high-speed blowout stabilization driving system can intervene in an instant to stabilize the vehicle when a tire blowout occurs at speeds up to 140 km/h. It also comes with the Yun Nian pre-visualization function, working together with an intelligent anti-motion-sickness system. For safety, the Song Ultra EV’s body is made of high-strength steel with a 77% proportion. The whole vehicle is equipped with 7 airbags, including front remote airbags. There is also a sentinel mode, as well as a five-view dash cam that comes standard across the whole range.

At the same time, the Song Ultra EV supports one-key remote preheating/starting and can turn on the air conditioning and seat ventilation heating in advance. Multi-function expansion interfaces support a phone stand and sports camera. The Magic Cube voice tube, with a 16-speaker Yangdi sound system; it also has driver and co-driver seat memory, a panoramic sunroof with a sunshade curtain, an electric rear tailgate, a 15.6-inch screen, electric unlocking for the front trunk, threaded interfaces, and other equipment.
