For multiple violations including fabricating false financial documents, Ruizhong Life Shandong Branch was fined 980,000 yuan.
On March 24, administrative penalty information disclosed by the Shandong Regulatory Bureau of the National Financial Regulatory Administration showed that RenZhong Life Insurance Co., Ltd. Shandong Branch was warned and fined 980,000 yuan for the following major violations and irregularities: compiling false financial materials, failing to use the accident-and-sickness insurance premium rates that had been filed for备案 as required, providing other benefits besides those agreed in the insurance contracts, and using non-compliant training courseware.
At the same time, Sun Mei, then deputy general manager of RenZhong Life’s Shandong company, was warned and fined 70,000 yuan; Zhang Jianping, then deputy general manager of RenZhong Life’s Shandong company, was warned and fined 50,000 yuan; Sun Liang, then deputy general manager of RenZhong Life’s Shandong company, and Liu Jian, then deputy manager of RenZhong Life’s Shandong company’s bank-insurance and consumer protection management section, were both warned and fined 40,000 yuan; Song Junmin, then manager of RenZhong Life’s Shandong company’s operations management section/consumer rights and interests protection section, was warned and fined 10,000 yuan.
