Federal Reserve Governor Stephen Miran said in an interview that he supports the central bank cutting interest rates by 100 basis points over the next year.

Milan said, “I think we can gradually cut rates by about one percentage point and complete it within a year.”

In addition, he said that the private credit market “so far” has not posed an economic risk, but this is a risk that I am concerned about—using today’s wording, it is a risk that is worth being “monitored.”
