Fushun Special Steel expects a net loss of 805 million yuan in 2025, turning from profit to loss year-on-year.
Beijing Business Today, March 30 (Reporter Ma Huanhuan, Li Jiaxue) On the evening of March 30, Fushun Special Steel (600399) released its 2025 annual report. The company’s net profit attributable for the full year was approximately -805 million yuan, turning from profit to loss year over year.
The annual report shows that in 2025, Fushun Special Steel achieved operating revenue of approximately 7.783 billion yuan, a year-over-year decline of 8.26%; correspondingly, it recorded net profit attributable of approximately -805 million yuan, turning from profit to loss year over year.
In response to the net loss, Fushun Special Steel provided three explanations: first, due to the impact of market demand, some of the company’s product orders and selling prices compared with the previous period declined, which had a significant impact on performance; second, as newly built projects were gradually put into operation and capitalized, the actual output of the new projects was lower than expected, leading to an increase in fixed costs allocated per unit of product; third, to meet the industry-wide push for quality improvement and development needs, the company accordingly enhanced its product quality control and requirements, resulting in higher quality costs.
