In an announcement, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said that, during the 86th wave of the “True Promise – 4” operation, Iran struck multiple targets including facilities of the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet. Experts believe that, as the U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict continues, this war is very likely to evolve into a “war of attrition.” At present, the rate of U.S. military spending in this conflict is at the highest level in history; in the long run, the war’s cost ceiling could be extremely high.
