Iran's Oil Minister Sends Letter to the United Nations Calling for Condemnation of U.S. Attacks on Iran's Energy Facilities

According to a report by Iran’s Islamic Republic of Broadcasting and Television on the 24th, Iran’s Minister of Oil, Mohsen Paknejad, recently sent a letter to the UN Secretary-General, calling on the United Nations to condemn attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran’s key oil and natural gas facilities. In the letter, Paknejad said that such attacks could lead to serious humanitarian consequences and environmental damage, going beyond the scope of limited military actions and amounting to a full-scale war against Iran’s energy security and economy. He emphasized that Iran has never initiated any aggression and does not seek to escalate regional tensions. (Xinhua)
