Xpeng Motors rebranding
On March 27, GAC Motors was informed by Xpeng Motors’ official channels that, effective April 1, 2026, Xpeng Motors’ Chinese name will be officially changed from “Xpeng Motors Co., Ltd.” to “Xpeng Group,” while the English name “XPeng Inc.” will remain unchanged. It said that this change in the company’s Chinese name does not affect any of the rights of the company’s shareholders.
