Temporary traffic restrictions on these roads in Gui'an New Area from March 27 to 29

“The 2026 Multi-Color Guizhou Half Marathon Super League (First Leg) and the Guiyang Gui’an Sakura Half Marathon Race” (hereinafter referred to as “the marathon race”) will be held in the Gui’an New Area on March 29, 2026. In order to ensure the race runs smoothly and to safeguard road traffic safety during the event, in accordance with Article 39 of the “Road Traffic Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China,” temporary traffic control will be implemented on the roads involved in the event and around it during the “marathon race.” The notice is as follows:

I. Event Overview

(I) Competition time: 9:00 a.m. on March 29 (Sunday)

(II) Start and finish points: Gui’an New Area Planning Art Museum

(III) Course route: Gui’an New Area Planning Art Museum (start) → Bainba Avenue → Qing’an Avenue → Shugu Avenue → Ankang Avenue → Bainba Avenue → Nansha Road (turnaround) → Bainba Avenue → Gui’an New Area Planning Art Museum (finish)

II. Period and Road Sections Under Traffic Control

(I) Construction period for start and finish areas

  1. March 27, 2026 (Friday) 09:00- March 28, 2026 (Saturday) 06:00

Temporary two-way traffic control will be imposed at the Bainba Avenue Longwu Street intersection to the Daxia Road intersection; in the south-to-north direction, the two leftmost lanes may pass, while in the north-to-south direction, only the service road may pass.

  1. March 28, 2026 (Saturday) 06:00- March 29, 2026 (Sunday) 14:00

Bainba Avenue from the Longwu Street intersection to the Daxia Road intersection will be closed in both directions; no vehicles are allowed.

(II) Competition period of the “marathon race”: March 29, 2026 (Sunday) 06:30-12:00.

Controlled road sections:

  1. Qing’an Avenue (from the Shugu Avenue intersection to the Bainba Avenue intersection) will be closed in both directions; all intersections along the route will be closed; no vehicles may pass;

  2. Shugu Avenue (from the Qing’an Avenue intersection to the Ankang Avenue intersection) will be closed in both directions; all intersections along the route will be closed; no vehicles may pass;

  3. The north-south bidirectional service roads at the intersection of Xinshidai Avenue and Bainba Avenue will be closed; no vehicles are allowed to enter the service roads of Bainba Avenue;

  4. At the Gui’an Avenue Gui’an interchange and at all on- and off-ramps of Gui’an Avenue and Shugu Avenue interchanges, all entry and exit points will be closed; the main lanes of Gui’an Avenue will operate normally;

  5. Ankang Avenue (from the Shugu Avenue intersection to the Bainba Avenue intersection) will be closed in both directions; all intersections along the route will be closed; no vehicles may pass;

  6. Bainba Avenue (from the Qing’an Avenue intersection to the Ankang Avenue intersection) will be closed in both directions; all intersections along the route will be closed; no vehicles may pass;

  7. Nansha Road (from the Bainba Avenue intersection to the gate No. 3 of CATL) will be closed in both directions; no vehicles may pass;

For the above controlled road sections, vehicles are prohibited from passing in all directions at the intersections involved.

III. Requirements for Traffic Control

(I) After 04:00 on March 29, 2026 (Sunday), vehicles are prohibited from parking on traffic control road sections such as Bainba Avenue, Qing’an Avenue, Shugu Avenue, Ankang Avenue, and Nansha Road; it is also prohibited to pile up all kinds of items. Please instruct the general public and enterprises to drive their vehicles away before 04:00, and remove any stacked items. After the traffic control begins at 06:30, the traffic management department will forcibly tow vehicles parked inside the racecourse.

(II) From 06:30 to 12:00 on March 29, 2026 (Sunday), all social vehicles are prohibited from parking on traffic control road sections such as Bainba Avenue, Qing’an Avenue, Shugu Avenue, Ankang Avenue, and Nansha Road; it is prohibited to pile up all kinds of items and to carry out occupation-of-road construction, landscaping and greening work, etc. No social vehicles, non-motor vehicles, or pedestrians may pass; only event-dedicated vehicles, ambulances, and fire trucks are allowed to pass.

IV. Detour Suggestions

(I) From 09:00 on March 27, 2026 (Friday) to 06:30 on March 29, 2026 (Sunday)

South-to-north: For vehicles that need to pass the closed section from the Bainba Avenue Daxia Road intersection to the Longwu Street intersection, they may choose to detour via Daxia Road—Xinshidai Avenue—Shugu Avenue—Qing’an Avenue—Bainba Avenue.

North-to-south: For vehicles that need to pass the closed section from the Bainba Avenue Longwu Street intersection to the Daxia Road intersection, they may choose to detour via Bainba Avenue—Qing’an Avenue—Xingyue Avenue—Xinshidai Avenue—Bainba Avenue.

(II) From 06:30 to 12:00 on March 29, 2026 (Sunday)

Vehicles entering the Gui’an New Area from the direction of Guiyang Qingzhen may choose to detour via Guihong Avenue—Xing’an Avenue (round trip).

Vehicles traveling toward the New District Big Data Innovation and Creative City or toward Qingzhen from the direction of Guiyang Huaxi District may choose to detour via Hulei Road—Gui’an Avenue—Xing’an Avenue (round trip).

Vehicles traveling toward Qingzhen from the direction of Anshun Pingba District may choose to detour via Gui’an Avenue—Xing’an Avenue (round trip).

Employees of enterprises within the controlled area should reasonably plan commute time. On the event day, March 29, 2026 (Sunday), before 08:00, they should enter the controlled area with their work permits to go to the enterprise; they are prohibited from parking or lingering inside the controlled area. Employees of the CATL enterprise should enter through Gate No. 2 on the roads on the south side of the park; they are prohibited from driving into the Nansha Road section.

V. Parking Area Planning

(I) Parking for event work vehicles

After event work vehicles enter the controlled area with passes, they will be uniformly and orderly parked at the underground parking lot of the Gui’an New Area Citizens’ Center. Once the underground parking lot is full, they will be parked together with the event shuttle buses along Xianghu Road. Vehicles will be parked in a single-file, forward-direction arrangement along the roadside, with approximately 200 passenger-car spaces.

(II) Parking for participating athletes’ vehicles

Athletes are requested to take public transportation—take Metro Line S1 to the race start point (exit C from the Dakecheng station). If you need to drive yourself, vehicles will be uniformly parked at the Tianhetan Scenic Area parking lot or the underground parking lot of the Gui’an High-Speed Railway Station, as well as along the station road network such as Xingyue Avenue and Mian’an Road. Vehicles will be parked in a single-file, forward-direction arrangement along the roadside; then transfer to Metro Line S1 or walk to reach the destination.

VI. Adjustments to Bus Routes

Due to road traffic control for the event, involving 15 Gui’an bus lines, the routes will be temporarily adjusted for detours, interval operations, and temporary suspension at that time. After the traffic control ends, normal operation on the original routes will be restored. Specifically:

(I) 4 temporary detour lines: Route 702, Gui’an Route 7, Gui’an Route 8, Gui’an Route 9.

(II) 5 routes with shortened service sections: Route 701, Route 703, Gui’an Route 4, Gui’an Route 5, Gui’an Route 6.

(III) 6 routes temporarily suspended during the period: Dakecheng Route 1, Dakecheng Route 2, Dakecheng Route 3, Dakecheng Route 4, Dakecheng Route 8, Gui’an Route 1.

VII. Warm Reminders

Participating athletes should follow traffic regulations, pay attention to driving safety, and comply with instructions from police officers and staff on site (the actual duration of traffic control will be adjusted based on the event progress and actual needs of traffic management). For all relevant units and residents affected by traffic control, please adjust production, transportation, and travel arrangements in advance. The temporary traffic control may cause inconvenience to the general public; your understanding is appreciated.
