Nissan will reverse-import SUVs manufactured in the United States.

Nissan announced on March 17 that it will begin importing and selling in Japan the SUV “Murano” produced in the United States starting in early 2027. Murano is manufactured at Nissan’s Smyrna plant in Tennessee, and it will be directly imported as a left-hand-drive model built to U.S. specifications. Murano was previously sold in Japan, but sales were discontinued in 2015. (The Interface News)
