On March 30th, French AI startup Mistral AI announced that it has secured $830 million in debt financing to build a data center project outside Paris. Mistral stated that the funds will be used to purchase 13,800 GB300 chips from NVIDIA for the data center in France, which is scheduled to be operational in the second quarter of 2026.
