Gelunhui March 24丨Haidilao (06862.HK) released an announcement: for the year ended December 31, 2025, it achieved revenue of RMB 43.225 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 1.1%; restaurant operating income was RMB 39.064 billion, representing a year-on-year decrease of 4.5%; profit attributable to owners of the company was RMB 4.050 billion, representing a year-on-year decrease of 14%; core operating profit (measured in accordance with non-IFRS) was RMB 5.403 billion, representing a year-on-year decrease of 13.3%; basic earnings per share was RMB 0.75. The board proposes to distribute a final cash dividend for the year ended December 31, 2025 of HK$0.384 per share.
In 2025, the catering and dining consumption market continued to face a more competitive environment and a complex backdrop of shifting consumer demand. Haidilao continued to adhere to its core management philosophy of “grabbing customers with one hand and employees with the other,” and continued to deepen its efforts in “refined management” and “multi-brand synergy.” During the reporting period, the group’s revenue was RMB 43.225 billion, up 1.1% year over year; core operating profit was RMB 5.403 billion, down 13.3% year over year; profit during the year was RMB 4.042 billion, down 14.0% year over year. The decline in profit was mainly attributable to adjustments including the decrease in table turnover rate and changes to innovation models such as products and scenarios.
During the reporting period, the group already held multiple catering brands. As of December 31, 2025, with respect to the Haidilao brand, the group operated 1,383 restaurants in total. Of these, there were 1,304 self-operated restaurants, with 79 newly opened during the year; there were 79 franchised restaurants, with 21 newly opened during the year, and 45 self-operated restaurants converted to franchising during the year. During the reporting period, the group had 85 self-operated restaurants that were proactively shut down because their operating performance did not meet expectations, or were relocated due to commercial landmark moves or due to outdated facilities. As of December 31, 2025, besides the Haidilao brand, the group operated 20 catering brands, with a total of 207 restaurants. In terms of restaurant performance, in 2025 the overall table turnover rate of self-operated Haidilao restaurants was 3.9 times/day, compared with 4.1 times/day in 2024; throughout the year, it served 383.9 million customer visits in total, down 7.5% from the previous year.
