The CPU price hike is coming: the value reshaping from "computing power supporting role" to "Agent scheduling core"

The surge of agents will move the CPU from the “infrastructure foundation” to the “center of performance bottlenecks,” and the supply-demand gap will suddenly widen. Intel and AMD both began raising prices in March and April, with increases of 10%-15%. The delivery lead time will be extended to 8-12 weeks, and some models will take as long as 6 months. At the same time, Arm—armed with its own-designed CPUs—has moved in forcefully, and the x86 camp’s dominant position has for the first time faced a real challenge.
