Support for the Iraq War declines, anti-war protests erupt in multiple locations across Israel.
Odaily Planet Daily reports: According to information from Israeli sources, as military actions against Iran continue, local public support for the war in Israel has fallen, especially the share of people who say they are “strongly supportive” has dropped noticeably compared with early March. In recent days, dozens of peace organizations in Israel, including the “Peace Partner” plan, held a first joint session to protest the Israeli government’s “endless war.” The report shows that on the 28th, anti-war protest activities in the central city of Tel Aviv at Habima Square drew more than 1,000 participants, the largest turnout in a month. Crowds held signs such as “Never-ending war is not a strategy” and “Even in such a complex era, we must oppose (war).” It is understood that the event was originally scheduled to last 1 hour, but in fact it continued for nearly 2 hours due to clashes with the police.
