Huya's total revenue will grow to 6.5 billion yuan by 2025.

News Release (Reporter: Li Haoyue) On March 17, Huya Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Huya”) released its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2025 and for the full year. The financial report shows that in the fourth quarter of 2025, Huya’s total revenue was RMB 1.74 billion, a new high in nearly 10 quarters, with the year-over-year growth rate rising to 16.2%. Of this, revenue from game-related services, advertising, and other revenues increased 59.4% year over year to RMB 590 million; livestreaming revenue reached RMB 1.15 billion, remaining steady.

In terms of user data, during the quarter, Huya’s total MAU was generally stable, reaching 160 million. For the full year, Huya’s total revenue grew to RMB 6.50 billion; under non-US GAAP, net profit attributable to Huya was RMB 99.50 million.

On the operational front, after excluding the impact of one-off provisions, equity incentives, and acquisition amortization, Huya’s adjusted operating profit for the fourth quarter of 2025 has remained positive for three consecutive quarters and continued to improve. At the same time, the company achieved full-year adjusted operating profit turning positive, with core operating performance continuing to improve.

Meanwhile, Huya announced the distribution of a cash dividend and the progress of its share repurchase. Based on Huya’s “2025–2027 Dividend Plan,” the company will distribute approximately USD 31 million in “2026 cash dividends,” with a dividend of USD 0.135 per ordinary share or per ADS (American Depositary Share). Regarding share repurchases, under Huya’s repurchase program of up to USD 100 million launched in August 2023, by the end of December 2025, the company had repurchased Huya shares with a value of USD 75.5 million.

Huya’s Co-CEO, Huang Junhong, said: “In 2025, Huya made positive progress in its transformation into a comprehensive gaming ecosystem service provider. Full-year total revenue reached RMB 6.5 billion, up 7% year over year, and the year-over-year growth rate of total revenue in the fourth quarter accelerated. This performance was mainly driven by the company’s continued推进ing of business diversification. Game-related services, advertising, and other revenues surged 59.4% year over year, and for two consecutive quarters, they accounted for more than 30% of total revenue.”

In 2026, Huya also saw a key breakthrough in the game publishing space, with the mobile game launch of Goose Goose Duck. The game was officially released in the domestic market in January 2026, demonstrating strong market appeal. New users exceeded 5 million within 24 hours, surpassed 10 million within 6 days, and user retention was higher than expected. Since its launch, for the vast majority of the time, it has ranked first on the AppStore free games chart, becoming a widely discussed, phenomenon-level publishing case in the industry. Huang Junhong said: “The success of Goose Goose Duck strongly validates our publishing strategy led by content creation and content marketing, and also lays the foundation for Huya to further deepen its layout within the game ecosystem.”

In the fourth quarter, Huya’s livestreaming platform hosted nearly 100 copyright events and launched about 40 self-produced events and PGC programs. At the product level, Huya combines AI technology with esports content to create AI hosts with professional commentary capabilities and real-person visuals, and applies them to core game categories such as League of Legends and CS:GO. AI hosts can respond to user comments in real time through multiple formats, greatly enriching the supply and diversity of livestreaming content and effectively improving user viewing duration and community activity. In addition, Huya continues to explore cutting-edge technologies to create rich interactive experiences for players. For example, in March, the Delta Force action map tool will be the first to roll out a real-time navigation feature based on multimodal AI, significantly improving the user’s control experience.

Looking ahead, Huya will continue to strengthen its publishing capabilities and promote growth in new businesses such as sales of in-game items and advertising. Leveraging its ecosystem advantages, the company will continuously expand its influence across the game industry value chain, maintaining a more steady and resilient growth trajectory, and open a new chapter in high-quality development.
