Japanese and South Korean stock markets closed lower on Monday, with the South Korean KOSPI index falling nearly 3%.

According to Mars Finance, on March 30, the Nikkei 225 index closed down 1,487.22 points, a decrease of 2.79%, at 51,885.85 points; the South Korean KOSPI index closed down 161.59 points, a decrease of 2.97%, at 5,277.28 points.
