Tesla Shanghai Gigafactory delivered 58,600 units in February, a 91% year-over-year increase.
According to Shanghai Securities News, on March 11, Tesla China introduced that the latest statistics show Tesla’s Shanghai Super Factory delivered 58,600 units in February 2026, representing a significant 91% increase compared with the same period in 2025. Among them, Model Y was the leading wholesale sales champion for passenger cars in the domestic market in February.
Currently, Tesla has more than 9 million car owners worldwide. In 2025, globally, a total of about 1.636 million electric vehicles were delivered, of which the Shanghai Super Factory delivered 851,000 units, accounting for 52% of the total global deliveries. It is Tesla’s largest export hub worldwide.
In January and February 2026, domestic passenger vehicle export data shows that in February, Tesla’s export volume reached 20,000 units, up 4.2 times year over year; Model 3/Y ranked among the top three for single-model export volume in January. Model 3/Y continued to win awards such as Best Electric Vehicle of the Year for 2026 in multiple global markets.
