On March 28, U.S. Secretary of State Rubio told G7 counterparts that we expect Iran’s actions to end at the appropriate time, referring to weeks rather than months. Rubio also mentioned that Iran may decide to establish a toll collection system in the Strait of Hormuz. Additionally, Rubio did not request G7 countries to immediately send vessels to assist in clearing the Strait of Hormuz, but rather asked them to prepare for their post-war roles.
