Lebanese Minister of Social Affairs announces approximately 780,000 displaced persons nationwide

On the 11th local time, Lebanon’s Minister of Social Affairs, Haneen Saeed, announced at the Baabda Presidential Palace that there are currently about 780,000 displaced persons nationwide, with approximately 120,000 living in official settlement points, adding that the pressure is greatest in the capital Beirut and the Lebanese mountains. She has reported to President Joseph Aoun on the ministry’s emergency plan to respond to the displacement crisis. (CCTV News)
