Tesla and LG Energy Sign $4.3 Billion Battery Deal

Tesla and LG Energy have signed a supply agreement to build a $4.3 billion lithium iron phosphate battery manufacturing plant in Lansing, Michigan. The batteries produced will be used for Tesla’s Megapack 3 energy storage system, which is expected to begin production in 2027. (Financial Association)
