On March 13, another investigation was initiated against China and 59 other economies, citing ‘failure to effectively prohibit the import of products made with forced labor.’ China expresses strong dissatisfaction and resolute opposition to these actions. Moving forward, the Ministry of Commerce will advance the investigation into U.S. trade barriers in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Foreign Trade Law and the Rules for Investigating Trade Barriers, and will take corresponding measures based on the investigation results to firmly defend its legitimate rights and interests.
