Northern region increases capacity, manganese silicon companies' daily average production reaches a new high in over three months

Manganese silicon (ferrosilicon manganese) from the Northern Inner Mongolia production area saw an increase in blast furnace capacity and iron output, and production is trending upward; in the South, production enthusiasm remains low due to cost constraints, and operating rates are still staying at a low level. This week, Mysteel statistics show that the operating rate of 187 independent silicon manganese companies nationwide is 35.62%, down 0.22% from last week; daily average output is 28,205 tons, up 510 tons, reaching the highest level in more than 3 months. For 136 independent silicon iron companies nationwide, the operating rate is 28.32%, down 0.03% versus last week on a ring-fenced basis; daily average output is 14,085 tons, up 0.57% from last week on a ring-fenced basis, an increase of 80 tons.
