Guangzhou: Focus on supporting the promotion of the first (set) artificial intelligence products and encourage companies to collaborate with promotion platforms to develop popular products.

People’s Finance News, March 26—The General Office of the Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government issued the Implementation Plan of Guangzhou for Promoting High-Quality Development of the Artificial Intelligence Industry. Among other things, it proposes to support the deployment, application, and promotion of innovative products. Focusing on the city’s industrial advantages, it will establish a resource pool of innovative artificial intelligence products for Guangzhou, encourage artificial intelligence-related products and services that have already been validated and applied in the industry to apply for inclusion in the pool, and support companies in transforming and upgrading their development by using products from the resource pool. It will advance the construction of pilot cities for digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises, develop “small, fast, lightweight, and accurate” artificial intelligence products and solutions, and guide small and medium-sized enterprises to implement artificial intelligence upgrades. It will hold supply-and-demand matching activities such as AI+ industry application matchmaking, industry–academia–research technology cooperation matchmaking, and industry–finance matchmaking, organize demonstration application scenarios and product publicity and promotion activities, and promote project acceleration and implementation. It will cultivate specialized promotion entities, support companies in building industry-level AI product promotion platforms, give key support to the promotion of the first-of-its-kind (sets) artificial intelligence products, and encourage companies to jointly develop and cultivate popular products in collaboration with promotion platforms.
