According to a report by Golden Finance on March 27, Axios reported that U.S. Vice President Vance criticized Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for being overly optimistic about the current U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict during a phone call earlier this week, believing that Netanyahu “exaggerated the likelihood of a regime change in Iran.” The report cited a U.S. official who stated that before the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran, Netanyahu had portrayed the conflict as “easy to manage” to the U.S. side and emphasized that there was a “high possibility of regime change in Iran,” but Vance was skeptical about this. The official also stated that Vance “played a leading role” in the U.S.-Iran “ceasefire negotiations,” while Israel was trying to undermine the talks. (CCTV International News)
