Lebanese Hezbollah missiles hit an Israeli satellite ground station

Israeli sources reported on the 10th that a missile launched by Hezbollah in Lebanon recently hit an Israeli satellite ground station near the city of Beit Shemesh, south of Jerusalem. Footage released shows a satellite ground station experiencing a fierce explosion, followed by thick smoke rising from the scene. The report states that the facility was “hit directly by a missile.” Rescue authorities said the attack caused “damage to infrastructure” and injured two people. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that due to a “malfunction,” the missile was “not intercepted and no alarms sounded locally.” It is understood that this satellite ground station is a “civilian commercial site.” (CCTV News)
